DESCRIPTION:The Arkansas River Conservation Cooperative is the Watershed Sp
 onsor of the Arkansas River Basin Water Forum to be held at the Doubletree
  by Hilton in Colorado Springs\, Colorado\, April 25-26\, 2023.\n\nSince 1
 995\, the Arkansas River Basin Water Forum has provided a friendly and con
 structive venue where individuals and organizations are able to explain th
 eir views and engage in open dialogue with other water users.\n\nThe forum
  promotes conversations between water users and the public. Sessions will 
 cover Colorado water law\, beneficial water use\, and principles of water 
 conservation. Agricultural\, municipal\, industrial\, environmental\, recr
 eational and governmental interests in the basin will be represented.\n\nP
 ast Forums have provided a broader understanding of water issues. This enh
 anced knowledge contributes toward management decisions that serve the com
 mon good for all who call the Arkansas River Basin their home.\n\nThe ARCC
  board views participation in the Arkansas River Basin Water Forum as a ke
 y part of the organization's strategy to build relationships and have a se
 at at the table for water management in the Upper Arkansas River Basin.  
 Bob Hamel\, Executive Director of ARCC\, is also on the board of ARBWF.\n\
 nThe Arkansas River Basin Water Forum is a 501 (c)3 non-profit that serves
  as a conduit for information about the Arkansas River Basin in Colorado\,
  and for issues related to water allocation and management.  Through its 
 annual Forums\, a wider understanding of water issues has evolved and alon
 g with it the opportunity to find common ground.\n\nThe ARCC board encoura
 ges all members to attend. It is easy to register online at www.arbwf.org.
  You can register up to 10 attendees at a time.   You can choose from se
 veral industry tours at no additional cost.  We encourage you to also reg
 ister for the Percolation -n- Runoff dinner and drinks social event (spons
 ored by ARCC) for only $25.  This is one of the most fun parts of our For
 um.
